Software Services Group Methodology
LanPro's approach to software projects is built on a methodology we
call Iterative Design. Iterative design is a highly interactive, client-focused
approach to software development that places prime importance on keeping
clients involved and aware of progress throughout the development life
cycle. Our projects are divided into distinct phases with clearly defined
goals and deliverables at every stage.
Key elements to the Iterative Design process are:
- Weekly Status Meetings and Reports on progress
- Conceptual mock-ups and prototypes provided throughout different
phases of the project so that they get a hands-on feel of the application
as it is being developed.
- Continuous feedback sought at the user level and management level
to the mock-ups and prototypes
- Issue logs that outline any pertinent topics to be covered during
the Status Meeting
- Enhancement logs that document any additional functionality desired
by the client, with a timeline and estimation on if and when it can
be handled.
